We’re a small, family-run oak-frame carpentry business specialising in oak-framed structures, extensions, and garden buildings.

At Character Oak, all our oak extensions benefit from over 20 years of carpentry experience, traditional oak-framing skills and modern design methods.
We believe your beautiful oak frame should be as unique as you are. And pride ourselves on taking a handcrafted approach to every structure we create.
You won’t find any large ‘production line’ CNC machines in our workshop, just lots of lovely handheld tools (and plenty of sawdust!).
